The story so far...

The name is probably self explanatory but I wanted to choose something that summed up my love for beautiful flickering candles and scented glittery things so Shimmer and Sparkle was born.  My love of candles particularly floating candles spans decades (I’m not telling you how many as I don’t want to give my age away!) but the business side of my love only started as a hobby buying gifts for my close girlfriends and packaging them beautifully.  My friends were so delighted with their sumptuous scented gifts I thought I would try and use that “je ne sais quoi” to buy for my own on-line candle shop

What I am doing is not original but I do hope that it is different.

The idea is to provide a range of fantastic candles and accessories and special things that you would love to have yourself and would also be delighted to give to your family and friends as gifts, but without having to spend hours searching for them. There is something for everyone and every budget.

I carefully select unusual, practical and luxurious products, that are realistically and affordably priced and where possible, try to source goods that are made by small businesses/cottage industries, as well as products based on natural ingredients and traditional crafts.
